Privacy Policy
Plain language, because that’s how Michael works. This page explains what this website collects, what it doesn’t, and how anything you share is handled.
What this website collects
Only what you choose to send. The contact form asks for your name, email, and message. The newsletter form asks for your email. That’s it — there are no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and this site sets no cookies of its own.
How your information is used
Form submissions are delivered to Michael and used to reply to you, to provide coaching-related information you asked for, or to send the newsletter you signed up for. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter, or ask for your information to be deleted, at any time by emailing michaelmartone@gmail.com.
Where it is processed
This site is hosted on Netlify, and the forms are processed by Netlify Forms; submissions are stored on Netlify and forwarded to Michael. Netlify acts as a service provider under its own privacy terms.
Third-party services you may choose to use
Some actions on this site take you to services Michael uses to run his practice, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- TidyCal — booking a discovery call
- Google Forms — ordering the book and completing the pre-meeting application
- YouTube — video embeds on the Events page use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie) mode; loading or playing a video connects your browser to YouTube/Google
Coaching confidentiality
Anything you share in a coaching relationship is treated with the same care Michael promises on this site: our sessions are completely confidential to the fullest extent of the law. Confidentiality expectations are also set out in writing in the coaching agreement every client reviews and signs before coaching begins.
Coaching, not therapy, medical care, or legal services
Coaching is not therapy, medical care, or legal services, and nothing you submit through this website creates a coaching, therapeutic, medical, or attorney–client relationship. That distinction is stated plainly here and in the coaching agreement.
